Eligibility Criteria for Directorate General of Shipping Mumbai Recruitment 2024
(1) Upper Division Clerk –
Experience and Eligibility:- Officers of the Directorate General of Shipping and other allied offices of the Central Government.
(a) Regularly holding analogous posts in the parent cadre/department.
(b) Divisional officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be considered for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
(2) Deputy Director General of Shipping –
Experience and Eligibility:- Officers of Indian Administrative Stratigraphic Sehis or Central Group ‘A’ Services
(a) (i) regularly hold a similar position in the parent cadre department; or
(ii) with dve years of regular service at Level l l in the pay matrix (Rs. 67,700-2,08,700); And
(b) possessing the following qualifications and experience:
Essential:
(i) The candidates must have passed a Degree from a recognized University/Institute; And
(ii) Ten years experience in administrative/ organizational matters.
Desirable:
Candidates must pass a Degree in Finance or Management from a recognized or lower University institution.
(3) Stenographer Grade-I – Central Government Officers:-
(a) (i) regularly hold similar posts; or
(ii) with 3 years of regular service in the scale of Rs.5000- 150-8000/- [as per revised pay matrix of Rs.35400-1124001- Level-6 as per 7th CPC (Pre-Revised Scale 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-)].
Or
(iii) with 10 years of regular service on the scale of 4000-100-6000/- as per Revised Pay Matrix of [25500-81100/- Level-4 (Pre-revised) as per 7th CPC Pay Scale Rs.5200-202001 with Grade Pay 2400/-)] or equivalent; And
(b) Possessing a speed of 100 words per minute Stenography (English/Hindi).
