Educational Qualification:
A renowned academic having a Ph.D. in the relevant, allied, or related field, a track record of excellence in their academic work, and a body of published, high-caliber work that includes the publication of books or a number of high-caliber research articles in reputable journals.
At least 10 years of experience in higher education teaching or research at universities, colleges, or organizations on a national scale.
Advising doctorate students on their research.
A score of at least the minimum required by the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) outlined in Appendix-III Table II (B) of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Universities)
Pay Scale:
Academic Level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs 1,44,200/-(basic)
Associate Professor – 15
Educational Qualification:
A PhD in the relevant, related, or concerned field and a strong academic record.
A master’s degree with at least 55% of the required grades in the relevant, related, or concerned field.
A 3-year Bachelor’s degree with honors or major in a pertinent or related field with at least a second-class grade.
A minimum of eight years experience in teaching and/or research in a position that equates to that of an Assistant Professor in a university, college, or accredited research institution/industry, excluding the time spent completing a doctoral degree. This experience must include a number of high-calibre publications in reputable journals as well as the publication of books or policy papers.
Pay Scale:
Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pay of Rs 1,31,400/- (basic)
Assistant Professor – 06
Educational Qualification:
Good academic standing with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is used) at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university;
The candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) administered by the University Grants Commission/Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or a comparable test recognized by the Univ.
Pay Scale:
Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs 57,700/- (basic)
Sister Nivedita Chair Professor – 01
Educational Qualification:
A renowned researcher having a Ph.D. in the relevant, allied, or related field, a number of publications of high caliber research in reputable journals, and/or the production of books.
Experience in research at universities, colleges, or reputable research institutes and/or industries for at least ten years.
Helping doctorate students with their research.
A passing grade as defined by the Academic Performance Indicator (API)-based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) in Appendix-III Table II of the UGC Rules 2018 (B).
Pay Scale:
Academic Level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 144200/-(basic) plus admissible allowances.
Librarian
Educational Qualification:
A Master’s degree in library science, information science, or documentation science with at least 55% of the required marks, or an equivalent grade on a point scale, depending on the grading scheme used.
Having worked as a librarian for at least ten years at a university library at any level, or having taught library science for 10 years as an assistant or associate professor, or having worked as a college librarian for ten years.
Proof of creative library services, such as the use of ICT in libraries.
A doctoral degree in documentation, library science, information science, archives, or manuscript preservation.
