Diploma Trainee in NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation Limited) for West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha Project

National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) is recruiting 41 persons for the post of “Diploma Trainee” for West Bengal’s Farakka, Katoya and Kahalgaon Project and for Bihar, Assam and Odisha Project.

Recruitment will be on following trades— Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and C & I.

Qualification: Candidates from recognised Polytechnic or Institute may have done Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering Diploma Course acquiring 70% marks may apply for Electrical Trades.
Candidates with 70% marks in Mechanical Engineering Diploma Course may apply for Mechanical Trades.
Candidates with 70% marks in Civil Engineering Diploma Course may apply for Civil Trades
Candidates with 70% marks in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering Diploma Course may apply for C&I Trades.

Age Limit: Candidate should be within 27yrs as on 1-1-2011. Age Relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs and PH- as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.15500- Rs.34500.

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which may hold on 20th November 2011. Examination centre will be Kolkata for Eastern India.
Selected candidates will go through training of One year at various NTPC’s centres. No fee required for SC/ST, PH and Female candidates.
