NTPC LIMITED INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 70 DIPLOMA TRAINEE (MINING/ MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ MINE SURVEY). LAST DATE — 12/12/2020

 

DIPLOMA TRAINEE

No. of Vacancies: 70 Nos.

 

Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mining- 40 posts
ii) Mechanical- 12 posts
iii) Electrical- 10 posts
iv) Mine Survey- 08 posts

 

Educational Qualification:
i) For Mining:- Full time regular Diploma in Mining/ Mining & Mine Surveying Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
ii) For Electrical:- Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
iii) For Mechanical:- Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
iv) For Mine Survey:- Full time regular Diploma in Mine Survey/ Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying with minimum 70% marks.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 25 years (35 years for Land Oustees) as on 12/12/2020.

 

Basic Pay: Rs.24000 per month

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The vacancies are for Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Chatti Bariatu Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Keredari Coal Mining Project (Jharkhand), Dulanga Coal Mining Project (Odisha) and Talaipalli Coal Mining Project (Chhattisgarh) under Coal Mining Region of NTPC Limited.

The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of two (02) years at various NTPC Coal Mining sites and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 24,000/- per month.

Note:- 70% marks in the above mentioned Educational Qualification is relaxed to Pass marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD category (where vacancies are identified) and 50% marks for Land Oustees.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done through Online Test (Computer Based Test) which will be conducted in two stages i.e. 1st stage Online Test and 2nd stage Online Test. The 1st stage Online Test will be held tentatively in First week of January 2021 and 2nd stage Online Test will be held in tentatively First week of February 2021.
