Life Insurance Corporation of India is recruiting approximately 8691 Graduate Boys and Girls for the post of “Direct Sales Executive” from various States of India. The job will be on contractual basis of 3 years. The numbers of vacant posts may changed according to the requirements of the office during recruitment. Qualification criteria is given below—

Qualification: Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in any stream may apply for the post. Preference will be given to those students who have done Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Management.
Candidates with good speaking power in English and local languages of that particular State is desirable.
Knowledge in Computer application and MS Office will be added as additional advantage.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21yrs to 35 yrs as on 01-09-2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; ST/ST-5yrs; Ex-Serviceman- as per norms.
Selection Steps: Selection of candidates will through Written Test and Interview. Written Test will be of Objective Types on—(i) Test of Reasoning, (ii) Numerical Ability and (iii) General Knowledge
Successful candidates in Written Test will be called for Interview.

Before applying online candidates should deposit the application fee of Rs.100 at the cash counter of any Branch office of Life Insurance Corporation of India. SC/ST candidates do not need to pay application fee.
After submitting the application form, a unique registration number and password will appear on the screen. Candidates should make print-out of this application for future use. The registration numbers and password are also emailed to the candidates’ email id.
There is no need to send any documents by post. Candidates should have their own valid email id. Candidates should produce all necessary documents during Interview.
Last Date to Apply: Online application can be made till 20-09-2011 where application fee can be deposited by last 19-09-2011
