Directorate of Lighthouses & Lightships, under Ministry of Shipping, is inviting application for 42 Posts of “Navigational Assistant Grade III (Group ‘C’) in Chennai, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Port Blair & Vishakhapattanam. NAVIGATIONAL ASSISTANT GRADE-III (GROUP ‘C’)
No. of Vacancies: 42 Nos. (Gen-21; OBC-12; SC-07 & ST-02)

 

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical and Electronics.

 

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 31.05.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years and others – as per govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.

Selected candidates will be posted at any Lighthouse station under Chennai, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Port Blair & Vishakhapattanam Directorate.
