Block ASHA Facilitator (BAF)
Number of Vacancies: 60 [UR-30; SC-11; ST-6; OBC(A)-6; OBC(B)-5]
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Science/ Sociology/ Social Anthropology/ MSW/ MBA/ Economics/ Rural Development/ Mass Communication
OR Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 02yrs experience in health projects.
Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in ASHA programme.
Candidates should have knowledge of MS Office & Internet.
Note: Candidates should be a resident of the same sub-division where he/she is applying.
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as on 01/01/2015. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC
Pay Scale: Rs.7500/- (Consolidated pay) per month plus Rs.1500/- as mobility support and Grade Pay:
Candidates’ Selection: The selection will be based on merit (academic qualification and result) and experience in Health Project, along with a Written Test of 50 marks and Computer skill test of 25 marks.
The selected candidates will be engaged on contractual basis initially for one year which may be extended further on basis of performance of the candidate and requirement. See officially released advertisement for more details.
The vacancies to be filled are in total 30 Primary Health Centre Blocks of Burdwan district of following 06 Sub-division – 1. Sadar (North) Sub division, 2. Sadar (SOuth) Sub division, 3. Kalna Sub division, 4. Katwa Sub division, 5. Durgapur Sub division and 6. Asansol Sub division.
