District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Malda is recruiting 31 candidates for the various posts – Block Data Entry, Date Entry Operator, Computer Asst., Accountant, Supervisor and Etc. The engagement are on contract basis. Interested and eligible candidates (Both Male and Females) may apply on prescribed application format. Educational norms and number of vacancies were as follows —
1. Block Data Entry: 10 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—3; ST—2; OBC-A—2)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Diploma in Computer application (DCA). Candidates must have typing speed of minimum 30 words per minute in English and 02 years experience in the field.
2. Data Entry Operator: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Diploma in Computer application (DCA). Candidates must have typing speed of minimum 30 words per minute in English.
3. Computer Assistant: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Same as above
4. Block Accounts Manager: 02 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with advanced knowledge in Computer and accounting software like Tally.
5. Accounts Personnel: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Same as above post.
6. Consultant (Flurosis): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: MBBS/MSc (Bio Chemistry)/ MSC (Nutrition)
7. Lab Technician: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Science) pass. Diploma in computer application is desirable.
8. Field Investigator: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass. Diploma in computer application is desirable.
9. Malaria Technical Supervisor (MTS): 6 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-A—1)
Qualification: Graduate from the Biology Stream. If the desired candidate is not available then Candidates with Science Subject in Class XI and XII will be considered. Candidates should have a valid two wheeler driving license and should be preferably from same disctrict for the post he/she applied. Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in health related programme in Govt. sector.
10. Laboratory Technician: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Science) pass & DMLT.
Diploma in computer application and one year practical experience in the field is desirable.
11. Data Entry Operator: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and working knowledge of computer of computer. Candidates shall have minimum 01 year experience in the field.
12. Kala – azar Technical Supervisor (KTS): 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: only Retired HA (Male) and HS (M) of the same district having two wheeler driving licence are eligible to apply.
Age Limit (For all post except KTS): Maximum 40yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age limit for the post of KTS is 62 years. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/ Computer Knowledge Test/ Viva Voce. Date and venue will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates.
