Specialist (Medicine) – Polyclinic – 11
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a school accredited by the MCI;
Post-Graduate degree or DNB in Medicine.
Have a West Bengal Medical Council registration.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Pay: 3,000 rupees (at least three hours per day) on a part-time basis, three times each week.
Specialist (Paediatrics) – Polyclinic – 09
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a school accredited by the MCI;
Post-Graduate degree / DNB / Diploma in Paediatric Medicine.
Have a West Bengal Medical Council registration.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Pay: 3,000 rupees (at least three hours per day) on a part-time basis, three times each week.
Specialist (G&O) – Polyclinic – 10
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a school accredited by the MCI;
Post-Graduate degree / DNB / Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics.
Have a West Bengal Medical Council registration.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Pay: 3,000 rupees (at least three hours per day) on a part-time basis, three times each week.
Specialist (Ophthalmologist) – Polyclinic – 10
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a school accredited by the MCI;
Post-Graduate degree / DNB / Diploma in Ophthalmology.
Have a West Bengal Medical Council registration.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Pay: 3,000 rupees (at least three hours per day) on a part-time basis, three times each week.
Medical Officer – U- HWC – 24
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a school accredited by the MCI;
With 1 year compulsory internship.
Have a West Bengal Medical Council registration.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Pay: 60,000/- Rupees monthly.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure could include two parts. 1. Document screening at the time of the walk-in interview 2. Viva-voce interview. Final selection may be based on the academic degree or diploma and viva-voce interview score.
How to Apply:
Candidates may attend the walk-in organized by District Health & Family Welfare Samiti Howrah with the filled-up application form along with the following documents-
• A printed copy of the completed application form together with the following passport-size recent colour photo.
• Identity documentation, such as a passport, voter ID card, AADHAR card, or PAN card.
• Address verification (passport, voter ID, AADHAR card, or ration card);
• Age verification (Madhyamik or comparable exam certificate/admit card)
• All transcripts and diplomas dating back to secondary school (including MBBS, post-graduate degrees, DNBs, and diplomas);
• Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India or the West Bengal Medical Council
• All post-qualification experience certificates that have been granted and stamped by the relevant authorities, in order of most recent to oldest.
• Certificates of experience that include the duration of employment.
• A certificate of caste, if necessary.
