1. ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER (GROUP-B)
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos. (UR—1; SC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent pass AND Certificate in Computer application as well as should possess minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand and minimum speed of 40 wpm in Typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100-37600/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3900/-
2. LOWER DIVISION CLERK (GROUP-C)
Number of Vacancies: 8 Nos. (UR—4; SC—2; OBC-EC –2)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent pass AND Certificate in Computer application and shall possess satisfactory fingering speed in Computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400-25200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2600/-
3. SUMMON BAILIFF/ PROCESS SERVER (GROUP D)
Number of Vacancies: 1 No. (UR)
Qualification: Class VIII pass from recognized school/ board.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400-25200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2300/-
4. PEON (GROUP –D)
Number of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR—7; SC—4; OBC—2)
Qualification: Class VIII pass from recognized school/ board.
Pay Scale: Rs. 4900-16200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.1700/-

Age Limit (for all posts): Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as o 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates. The upper age limit, in case of Persons with disabilities is 45 years. For Ex-servicemen – will be as per govt.norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personality test. Computer typing test and Shorthand test will be there, wherever applicable. Application Fee: Rs.300/- (Rs.200 for SC/ST candidates) for the post of Stenographer and LDC AND Rs.250/- (Rs.150 for SC/ST candidates) for the post of Summon Bailiff/PS/Peon.
Fee is to be paid in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘The District Judge, Uttar Dinajpur at Raiganj’ and payable at ‘Raiganj’.
