DISTRICT JUDGE
No. of Vacancies: 26 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) Must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University.
ii) Candidate must be a practicing Advocate in Courts of Civil and/ or Criminal jurisdiction and must have so practiced for a period not less than 07 years.
iii) Candidate must possess basic knowledge of Computer Application/ Operation.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and below 45 years as on 30/04/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 51,650- 63,260/-
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for SC/ST, SEBC, PWD and Ex-Serviceman candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Viva-voce Test (Personal Interview). The Preliminary Examination and Main Written Examination will be tentatively scheduled on 16/06/2019 and 04/08/2019 respectively. The Viva-voce Test (Personal Interview) will be tentatively scheduled in the month of October/ Novermber, 2019.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST, SEBC, PWD and Ex-Servicemen) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of High Court of Gujarat. See released advertisement for more details.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of High Court of Gujarat — www.gujarathighcourt.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 01/04/2019 to 30/04/2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
