DISTRICT JUDGE
No. of Vacancies: 34 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Candidate must possess a Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India.
ii) Candidate must be a practising Advocate in Courts of Civil and/ or Criminal jurisdiction and must have so practiced for a period not less than 07 years.
iii) Candidate must possess basic knowledge of Computer Application/ Operation.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and below 45 years as on 21/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.51650 — Rs.63260
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, SEBC, PWD and Ex-Serviceman.
The candidates will be appointed by Direct Recruitment basis.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through For Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test), Test of Gujarati Language (For those candidates, who have not passed Secondary as well as
Higher Secondary with subject of Gujarati (Higher Level at both stages)), Main Written Examination and Viva-Âvoce Test (Personal Interview). The Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) and Test of Gujarati Language is tentatively scheduled on 3rd May, 2020. Main Written Examination is tentatively scheduled on 05/07/2020 and VivaÂ-voce Test (Personal Interview) is tentatively scheduled in the month of September, 2020.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.1,500/Â- (Rs.750/Â- for SC/ ST, SEBC, PWD and ExÂ-Servicemen). Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Gujarat High Court. See released advertisement for more details.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Gujarat High Court — www.gujarathighcourt.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 06/03/2020 to 21/03/2020.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO GUJARAT HIGH COURT AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
