HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 07 DISTRICT JUDGE. LAST DATE — 27/03/2020
DISTRICT JUDGE
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Must be a holder of Degree in Law.
ii) Must be practicing as an Advocate in the High Court of Bombay or Courts subordinate thereto for not less than 07 years.
OR
A candidate must be working or must have worked as Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate for not less than 07 years in the post or posts.
iii) Must have sufficient knowledge of Marathi to enable him/ her to speak, read, write and translate with facility from Marathi into English and vice-versa.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and below 45 years (48 years for candidates belonging to backward communities).
Pay Scale: Rs.51550 — Rs.63070
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
The posts are in the Judicial Service of the State of Maharashtra.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Written Examination, Main Written Examination and Viva-voce. The preliminary examination will be conducted at Mumbai, Nagpur and Aurangabad. The main written examination will be conducted at Mumbai only.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs.500/- for candidates belonging to Backward communities). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
