District Panchayat & RD Section, Purulia Zilla Parishad — Recruitment of Accounts, Clerk, DEO, Sahayak, Etc. Last Dt. 28/02/2014

Office of the District Panchayat & Rural Development Officer — Executive Officer, Purulia Zilla Parishad, is recruiting 157 candidates for the posts of — Accounts Clerk, Data Entry Officer, Clerk-cum-Typist, Sahayak and Samiti Education Officer on temporary basis but likely to permanent. The selection of the candidates will be through Competitive Examination and Interview. Educational norms and eligibility criteria in brief are given below —

1. ACCOUNTS CLERK
Number of Vacancies: 20 Nos. [SC-3; Gen-5; Gen(EC)-4; OBC(A)-1; OBC(B)-1, SC(EC)-1; SC(ExM)-1; Gen(PH)-1; OBC-A(EC)-1; OBC-B(EC)-1]
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent. Diploma in computer application is desirable.
Age: 18—40yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- per month

2. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. [OBC(EC)-1; Gen(EC)-1; SC-1]
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and shall have minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali. Candidates shall have atleast three months formal training in computer
Age: 18—40yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- per month

3. CLERK CUM TYPIST 
Number of Vacancies: 18 Nos. [SC-3; Gen-5; Gen(EC)-3; ST-1; OBC(A)-1; OBC(B)-1; SC(EC)-1; SC(ExM)-1; Gen(PH)-1; OBC-A(EC)-1]
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and shall have minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali. Candidates shall have proficiency in MS Word or any such other word processing application.
Age: 18—40yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- per month

4. SAHAYAK 
Number of Vacancies: 113 Nos. [SC-16; Gen-33; Gen(EC)-19; ST-4; OBC(A)-7; BC(B)-6; SC(EC)-7; SC(Ex-M)-2; Gen(PH)-4; OBC-A(EC)-4; OBC-B(EC)-3; Gen(Ex-S)-4; Gen(Sports person)-2; ST(EC)-2]
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Age: 18—40yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2300/-

5. SAMITI EDUCATION OFFICER 
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. [OBC(EC)-1; Gen-1; SC-1]
Qualification: Graduate Degree with Post Graduate B.Ed Degree or Graduate Degree with 03yrs experience of Teaching in any primary or secondary school or Graduate Degree with 3yrs experience of working in Govt. sponsored Alternative System of Education or Graduate Degree with 3yrs experience in Management of Education.
Age: 18—40yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/-

Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms. Age mentioned above will be counted as on 01/01/2014.

The engagement to the above said posts will be on temporary basis but likely to be permanent. 
The selection of the candidates will be through Competitive Examination, comprising written examination followed by Interview. Written examination will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and interview.
The vacancies are likely to fill up by first week of July, 2014.
Date and venue of Examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Admit card will be available online to download in due course.
