1. DIVISIONAL ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Should be Graduate and have passed Intermediate Examination of ICWA or ICA.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 32,500- 83,800/-
2. ASSISTANT FLOTILLA SUPERVISOR
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Extensive marine experience of atleast 07 years and capable of taking charges of floating craft operation work and organisation.
ii) Must have experience of controlling large staff.
iii) Must have good knowledge of English.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 32,500- 83,800/-
3. SURVEYING RECORDER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation.
ii) Should have adequate experience in hydrographic survey department in taking sextent angles and plotting fixes station pointer.
iii) Should be conversant with the reduction of soundings to the datum and preparation of working sheet for the surveyor.
iv) Should have knowledge of hand lead marking and taking sounding by lead.
Preferential Qualifications: i) Diploma in Civil Engineering.
ii) Knowledge and experience of chain surveying & levelling.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 29,600- 81,100/-
4. SIGNALMAN
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) SSLC/ XIIth pass
ii) Complete knowledge of International Code.
iii) Should be able to receive and send messages b+G98y mores and semaphore at the rate of 8 and 12 wpm respectively.
Age Limit: Minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,200- 59,600/-
The candidates will be appointed by Direct Recruitment basis.
For the post of Divisional Accountant, the selected candidates have to undergo on the job training for 03 months and pass Departmental Examination during the probation period.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online/ Written Test and/ or Proficiency/ Skill Test as applicable. The examination will be conducted in the following centres- Gandhidham/ Ahmedabad/ Gandhinagar/ Rajkot.
