DRDO CEPTAM recruits various Technician ‘A’ positions in various trades such as Automobile, Book Binder, Carpenter, COPA, Draughtsman (Mechanical), DTP Operator, Electrician, Electronics, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Diesel), Medical Lab Technology, Motor Mechanic, Painter, Photographer, Sheet Metal Worker, Turner, and Welder.

Applicants should have completed the Xth class or equivalent and hold a relevant ITI certificate. The age limit is between 18 to 28 years. Educational Qualification: i) Xth class or equivalent.
ii) Certificate from ITI in Automobile trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years

2. TECHNICIAN ‘A’- BOOK BINDER
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Xth class or equivalent.
ii) Certificate from ITI in Book Binder or Offset Machine Operator cum Book Binder trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years

3. TECHNICIAN ‘A’- CARPENTER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Xth class or equivalent.
ii) Certificate from ITI in Carpenter trade.

4. TECHNICIAN ‘A’- COPA

Selection Process for DRDO-CEPTAM

The selection process for the Technician ‘A’ positions involves two stages: a Computer Based Test (Tire-I) and a Trade Test (Tire-II). The Computer Based Test will be held at various centers across India.

DRDO-CEPTAM Application Process

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official DRDO-CEPTAM website. They need to pay the application fee, except for SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Women candidates who are exempt. Upon successful submission, candidates will receive a unique registration number. No hard copies or documents should be sent at this stage, as all verification will be conducted later.
