Who can apply?
You need to have a specific educational background. Let’s break it down subject-wise.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
1. For Pharmacy & Medical Subjects (5 Posts)
- Qualification: M.Pharm, M.S(Pharm), or M.Tech in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Must have: GATE, GPAT, or NET qualification.
2. For Life Sciences & Zoology (2 Posts)
- Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech / MVSc in Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- Must have: NET qualification.
3. For Chemistry (1 Post)
- Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or Chemical Sciences.
- Must have: NET or GATE.
4. For Environmental Science (1 Post)
- Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech in Environmental Sciences, Soil Science, Chemistry, or Life Sciences.
- Must have: NET qualification.

For Research Associate (RA)
1. For Life Sciences & Biotech (1 Post)
- Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences.
2. For Chemistry & Textile (2 Posts)
- Qualification: PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, Textile Chemistry, or Textile Engineering.
3. For Biotech with Special Skill (1 Post)
- Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences.
- Extra Skill Needed (Desirable): Knowledge of Capillary/NGS Nucleic acid sequencing and data analysis.
4. For Polymer Sciences (1 Post)
- Qualification: PhD in Polymer Sciences or Chemistry.
- Extra Skill Needed: Experience in polymer analysis.
5. For Horticulture (1 Post)
- Qualification: PhD in Horticulture.
- Extra Skill Needed: Knowledge of Post Harvest Technology.
Age Limit
- For JRF: Maximum 28 years.
- For RA: Maximum 35 years.
- Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years extra, and OBC candidates get 3 years extra.

How much Stipend (Salary) will you get?
- For JRF: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA (House Rent Allowance).
- For RA: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA.
