DRDO INVITES APPLICATION FOR 11 GRADUATE APPRENTICE, TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE AND TECHNICIAN (VOC) APPRENTICE. LAST DATE – 10/01/2015
1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
Discipline —
(i) Chemical Engineering: 1 post.
(ii) Mechanical Engineering: 2 posts.
(iii) Library Science: 1 post.
(iv) Electronics & Communication Engg.: 1 post.
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
Discipline —
(i) Chemical Engineering: 1 post.
(ii) Mechanical Engineering: 1 post.
(iii) Electrical Engineering: 1 post.
(iv) Electronics & Communication Engg.: 1 post.
3. TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICE
Discipline —
(i) Office Secretary/ Stenography: 2 posts.
Educational Qualification and Stipend payable:
1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE: First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the respective discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. For Library Science – First class Bachelor’s degree + first class degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science.
Stipend: Rs.3560/-
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE: First class Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
Stipend: Rs.2530/-
3. TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICE: HSC (10+2) vocational course in Office Management/ Secretary ship or knowledge in Computer.
Stipend: Rs.1970/-
Note: Candidates who have acquired the above said qualification prior to August 2013 are not eligible to apply. Candidates should not have gone through apprenticeship training or have job experience. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: Maximum 35yrs as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. The format can be prepared on plain paper by neatly typing on plain A4 size paper.
