1. DREDGE CADETS
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-02, EWS-01, OBC-03, SC-03, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Must have completed Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from recognized Institute.
2. TRAINEE MARINE ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-05, EWS-01, OBC-03, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Should have completed 04 years Degree in Marine Engineering from any recognized College/ Institute.
Age Limit: Born after 15/09/1994.
3. TRAINEE ELECTRICAL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-01, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Should have completed 04 years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation and must have completed 04 months Electro Technical Officer course from recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 31.07.2019.
4. NEAR COASTAL VESSEL TRAINEES (GP RATING)
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-04 , EWS-01, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Minimum Xth Class Pass from recognized Board and Pre-Sea G.P Rating Course and passed the Exit Examination approved by D.G Shipping with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Age Limit: Below 25 years as on 15.09.2019.
5. INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (FLYING SQUAD)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: B.E or B.Tech in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering.
Age Limit: Below 35 years as on 31.07.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.1,606/- daily wages.
Note: All candidates except for the post of Instrument Engineer (Flying Squad) should possess requisite valid Indian CDC, Passport, INDOS and basic STCW’2010 Certificates.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis.
The selected candidates will undergo onboard training for a period of 18 months for Dredge Cadets & Near Coastal Vessel (Trainees), 08 months for Electrical Officers and 06 months for Marine Engineers. During the training period, Dredge Cadets will be paid stipend of Rs.15000/- per month, Trainee Electrical Officers & Trainee Marine Engineers will be paid stipend of Rs.25000/- per month and Near Coastal Vessel (Trainees) will be paid stipend of Rs 10,000/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC category as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview wherever applicable.
