INDIAN COAST GUARD, COAST GUARD REGION (NE) KOLKATA, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 08 MT DRIVER (ORDINARY GRADE), SHEET FITTER, MT FITTER, CARPENTER AND LASCAR. LAST DATE — 20/10/2019

 

1. MT DRIVER (ORDINARY GRADE)

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-03, SC-01) (at Haldia/ Kolkata/ Bhubaneswar/ Paradip)

Educational Qualification: i) 10th Standard pass.
ii) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

Experience: At least 02 years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900 per month.

 

2. SHEET FITTER

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (at Paradip)

Educational Qualification: Should have completed Apprenticeship in the trade (Sheet Metal Worker) from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized Institutes.

Desirable: Two years’ experience in the trade.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900 per month.

 

3. MT FITTER

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (at Kolkata)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.

Experience: Two years’ experience in automobile workshop.

Desirable: ITI diploma in relevant trade.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900 per month.

 

4. CARPENTER

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (at Paradip)

Educational Qualification: Should have completed Apprenticeship in the trade (Carpenter) from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized Institutes OR should have 03 years’ experience in the trade.

Desirable: i) 10th Standard pass.
ii) Elementary knowledge of English.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900 per month.

 

5. LASCAR

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC) (at Haldia)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized Boards.

Experience: Three years’ experience in service on Boat.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.

 

The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
