CALCUTTA HIGH COURT IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 DRIVER. LAST DATE — 18/03/2020

 

DRIVER

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-01, UR (EC)-01, SC (ESM)-01, OBC-B (EC)-01)

 

Educational Qualification: i) A pass in Class- VIII.
ii) Must have up-to-date professional India Driving License (West Bengal).
iii) Efficiency in driving cars/ light motor vehicles of different categories.
iv) A sound knowledge in Automobile mechanism.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 18/03/2020.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5400 — Rs.25200

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The candidates will be appointed initially on purely Temporary basis but is likely to be made Permanent. The vacancies are under Calcutta High Court, Appellate side.

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Practical Test in Driving and Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST of West Bengal candidates only). Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta, payable at G.P.O. at Kolkata.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF EXEMPTED AND EX-SERVICEMAN CANDIDATES.

 

How to Apply: Candidates may neatly typed their Bio-Data/Application on plain paper. The bio-data/ application along with copies of testimonials, if instructed, in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents, should be submitted at the below given address

Candidates must also enclose 01 (25 cm x 11 cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs. 42/-.
