DSSC Wellington Eligibility
Education Qualification:- As per the official notification, candidates must have a Matriculation pass qualification or equivalent certificate from a recognized Board/Institute.
Age Limit:- The Minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
Age Relaxation:-
(a) OBC candidates can relax for three years, SC and ST candidates for five years, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for ten years (15 years for SCs/STs and 13 years for OBCs). Ex-servicemen who served for at least six months in the Armed Forces can deduct their service period from their actual age. If this deduction doesn’t exceed three years from the maximum age limit, they’re considered within the age limit.
(b) Departmental employees can apply until they are 40 years old for general categories and 45 years old for SC/ST.
(c) OBC/SC/ST candidates applying for UNRESERVED POSTS don’t get any relaxation in age limit or experience requirements.

DSSC Wellington Mode of Selection
(a) Eligible candidates will receive letters to appear for the written test confirming that the applicants fulfill the age limit, possess the required qualifications, and submit the required documents.
(b) Eligible candidates must take the written test. The questions will be based on the minimum educational qualifications.
(c) The written test will cover:
- Thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills
- English language skills
- General knowledge.
(d) The test paper will have questions and answers in both English and Hindi.
(e) After the written test, we’ll choose the right number of candidates and call them for skill or physical tests, if needed, based on their performance in the written test and their category.
