Educational Qualification for DU Recruitment 2023
Associate Professor:-
(1) Disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages and Library Science.
i) The Candidate must have a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines from a recognized University/ Institution.
ii) The Candidate must have a master’s degree from a recognized University/ Institution. (or an equivalent grade on a point scale).
iii) The Candidate must have a minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or accredited Research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications.
(2) Discipline of Management Studies:-
i) The Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Business Management/ Administration/ in a relevant management-related discipline or first class in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/recognized by the AICTE / UGC;
OR
The Candidate must have Completed First-class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost and Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
ii) The Candidate must have a Ph.D. or Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute recognized.

(3) Discipline of Education (Integrated Teacher Education Programme):
i) The candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in Sciences or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Commerce or Languages.
ii) The candidates must have completed an M. Ed. from a recognized University/ Institution.
iii) The candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Education from a recognized University/ Institution.
Professor:-
(i) The Candidates must have a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work.
(ii) The Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in the University/ College as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National level Institutions.
