East Central Railway, Mughalsarai Division, is recruiting 422 Apprentices Trainee in the trades of – Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, Turner, Wireman, Mechanic and Etc. 5. M.M.T.M: 1 Nos. (Gen)
6. Turner: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—2)
7. Wireman: 29 Nos. (Gen—15; SC—4; ST—2; OBC—8)
8. Mechanic (R&AC): 8 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2)
9. Electronics Mechanic: 70 Nos. (Gen—35; SC—11; ST—5; OBC—19)
10. Mechanic (Diesel): 39 Nos. (Gen—19; SC—6; ST—3; OBC—11)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 passed with minimum 50% marks and shall have completed ITI in the concerned trade.
Candidates without ITI or appearing/ result awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Not less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Stipend will be paid during training period of one year, as per extant rules.
Candidates’ Selection: There will no Written Examination or Viva-voce. Selection will be through Merit wise, i.e. candidates obtaining highest marks in the Matriculation/10th class (10 + 2 system) or equivalent recognised examination and passed ITI in designated Trades will be called for verification of genuineness of educational certificates and other related documents and physical fitness. Processing Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.40/- in form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of — FA & CAO, East Central Railway/Hajipur, payable at Patna.
There is no Fee for SC/ST/PH/ Ex-Servicemen and all Women candidates.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply only on prescribed application format (See the PDF given below), along with attested copies of all documents in support of Educational qualification Certificate and Mark sheet, ITI Trade certificate, Age proof, Caste and Etc.
All the documents shall be attested by Gazetted Officer. Candidates shall enclose 02 Self-addressed envelope (11”x5”) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.5/- on each.
Superscribe the top of the envelope with – “NOTIFICATION NO-E/TRAINING/ACT-APPRENTICE/MGS/2014, CASTE:____________, TRADE__________”.
