Railway Recruitment Cell — East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar, is recruiting 1828 Trackman, Token Porter, Safaiwala/ Hospital Attendant and Helper-II. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed format. Form can be also prepared on plain paper as per the format. Application is to be sent through Ordinary post only. — Trackman: 68 Nos.

Number of vacancies for OBC candidates —
— Trackman: 246 Nos.

Number of vacancies for Ex-Servicemen —

Number of vacancies for PH candidates —
— Total vacancies (PH candidates are eligible for the post of Safaiwala/ Attendant and Helper-II): 49 Nos.
Minimum Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass or ITI or equivalent.
Candidates appearing final examination or awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum 18yrs old and maximum 33yrs as on 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/- is to be paid as examination fee in form of Indian Postal Order only drawn in favour of – Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar, payable at – Bhubaneswar.
NO EXAMINATION FEE FOR SC/ST/ PH/ EX-SERVICEMAN/ MINORITIES AND WOMAN CANDIDATES.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Qualified candidates from Written Examination will only called for PET. There will be on Interview.
Written Test will be based on class 10 syllabus and will comprise multiple choice objective type questions on – General Knowledge, General Awarenes, Mathematics, General Science, Reasoning etc.
Question paper will be set in Hindi, English, Urdu, Oriya and Telugu language only.
Physical Efficiency Test —
For male candidates: Run of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance
For female candidates: Run of 400 metres in 3 minutes and 10 seconds.
