Indian Navy — Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam is recruiting total 219 candidates for the posts of Cook, Driver, Barber, Dhobi, Bootmaker, Tailor, Fireman, Telephone Operator, Nurse/ Sister and Hostel superintendent. EASTERN NAVAL COMMAND, VISAKHAPATNAM, INVITES APPLICATION FOR 219 COOK, DRIVER, TAILOR, FIREMAN, NURSE, ETC. LAST DATE – 27/02/2015 (06.03.15)

 

1. Cook: 14 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent pass and one year experience in the trade.
Age: 18—25yrs.

 

2. Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): 91 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and shall possess valid driving license for heavy motor vehichle as well as one year driving experience
Age: 18yrs to 25yrs.

 

3. Barber: 14 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and proficiency in the trade.
Age: 18 to 25yrs.

 

4. Dhobi: 14 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent and some experience in the trade.
Age: 18 to 40yrs.

 

5. Bootmaker/ Equipment Repair: 14 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and certificate from ITI in the field/ akin field.
Age: 18 to 25yrs.

 

6. Tailor (Upholster): 14 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and 03yrs experience as Tailor (Upholster)
Age: 18 to 30yrs.

 

7. Fire Engine Driver: 2 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and must be physically fit. Candidates shall have valid driving license and must meet the prescribed physical standards. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age: 21 to 30yrs.

 

8. Fireman (Grade-II): 53 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and shall meet the prescribed physical standards. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age: 18 to 25yrs.

 

9. Telephone Operator Gr.II: 01 post.
Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject AND shall have proficiency in handling of PBX Board.
Age: 18 to 25yrs.

 

10. Nurse/ Civilian Sister: 01 post.
Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent and certificate of training in an approved hospital as a nurse. Candidates must be registered as a fully trained Nurse in the Meidcal and the surgical nursing and midwifery.
Age: 18 to 30yrs.

 

11. Hostel Superintendent: 1 post.
Qualification: Intermediate or higher secondary or Senior Cambridge or equivalent and shall have 05 years experience in running a mess or hostel or alike.
Age: 18 to 30yrs.

 

The age of the candidates mentioned above will be counted as on 27.02.2015. Upper age relaxation for OBC candidates is 03yrs, SC/ST – 5yrs; PWD – 10yrs, Ex-serviceman and any others – as per norms.

 

Pay Band: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay as applicable.
