Burdwan Recruitment Cell, Office of the Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, is recruiting 19 Samiti Education Officer under different Panchayat Samity at Burdwan District. Interested candidates, any Indian citizen, can apply for the post.
Name of Post: Samity Education Officer
No. of Vacancies: 19 Nos. [GEN- 6; OBC- 2; SC-4; ST-1; GEN(PWD)- 1; GEN(EC)-4; SC(EC)-1]
Qualification: Graduate degree with Post Graduate B.Ed Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree followed by a B.Ed OR Graduate Degree with three years experience of teaching in any Govt. of Govt. aided Primary/Secondary School OR Graduate degree with three years experience of working in Govt. sponsored alternative system of education OR Graduate degree with three years experience in management of education.
N.B: Those holding B.Ed Degree should furnish a certificate from the institution in which they have studied for their B.Ed degree confirming the required affiliation of the institution.
Age Limit: 18-37 yrs on 1.1.2010 (Relaxation of age for OBC, SC,ST, EC and Ex-serviceman: as per govt. rules)
Pay Scale: Rs. 7100-37600, (Entry Point minimum pay: Rs. 7910 + GP: Rs.3600) + usual allowances as admissible.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates will be through written test and Interview. Written test will be of English, Bengali, Simple Arithmetic (from class X syllabus), General Knowledge and Mental Ability Test.
Only successful candidates from written test will be called for Interview.

How to Apply: Application can be written on A4 Size paper with given format only. Along with application, the following documents, duly Attested should be enclosed.
(A) Educational Certificate, Caste Certificate, PH/EC Certificate, Age Certificate and Experience Certificate (If any) and other such certificates and documents which may support your qualification.
(B) One self-addressed envelope (25cm X10cm) with postage stamp of Rs. 25/- should be enclosed with the application form.
N.B: All the certificates and documents should be duly attested by Gazetted Officer/Competent authority
The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed with “Application for the Post of Samity Education Officer. Advertisement No: 3/2010”
Candidates who are in service in Govt./Semi Govt. organization shall apply through proper channel. However, they may send one advance copy of their application form within the closing date.
