SHIPPING CORPORATION OF INDIA (SCI) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 50 POSTS OF TRAINEE ELECTRICAL OFFICER AND ELECTRICAL OFFICER. WALK-IN DATE — From 23.08.2018 to 25.08.2018
TOTAL VACANCIES: 50 POSTS
1. ELECTRICAL OFFICERS- WITH ETO (ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER) COC (CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY)
Educational Qualification:
i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. / Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course and ETO COC.
ii) Candidates with B.E/ B.Tech/ Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate and ETO COC.
Candidates to have 04 basic STCW courses and STSDSD/ SSO certificate from DGS approved institutes.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (maximum 45 years for Retired Indian Navy Personnel).
Consolidated Pay: Rs.2600/- to Rs.3300/- per month.
2. TRAINEE ELECTRICAL OFFICER
Educational Qualification:
i) Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with minimum 50% marks in final examination or must have obtained 50% marks in English subject either in 10th or 12th Standard exam, from recognized board.
ii) Passed three years Diploma or Four years Degree with 60% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication/ Communication engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
For Trainee Electrical Officer the selected candidates will undergo eight (08) months onboard training. The candidates will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month during the training period.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis. The vacancies are for Fleet Personnel Department.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
