ENERGY ASSISTANT (JUNIOR LINEMEN GRADE-II)

Circle wise vacancies:
i) Srikakulam: 679 posts
ii) Vizianagaram: 528 posts
iii) Visakhapatnam: 550 posts
iv) Rajamahendravaram: 583 posts
v) Eluru: 519 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) SSC/ 10th Class with ITI qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman trade or Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/ Board.
ii) The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.07.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of Two (02) years.
The selected candidates on appointment will be deployed to work in the Village Secretariats/ Ward Secretariats established in the Gram Panchayats/ Wards in various districts covered in Eastern Power Distribution Company of A.P. Limited (APEPDCL).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and BC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Qualification, Experience, Pole Climbing Test, Meter Reading Test and Cycling Test. The Pole climbing, Meter reading and Cycling tests will be conducted from 03/09/2019 to 07/09/2019. The tests will be conducted at the respective Circle head Quarters (Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram & Eluru).
