NMDC Limited, under the Ministry of Steel, is recruiting 46 Professional Engineers for Jt. General Manager, Dy. General, Asst. General Manager and Sr. Manager/ Manager in discipline of Mechanical/ metallurgy, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Civil/ Structural. The engagement will be in its Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar and Other Units. Employment Notification No.: 04/2013. Brief details is given below —
Total No. of Posts : 53 (SC: 08, ST: 04, OBC: 14, UR: 27). Reservation for SC/ST/ OBC/PwD will be as per Govt. guidelines
A. MECHANICAL/ METALLURGY/ ELECTRICAL/ CHEMICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION/ CIVIL/ STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS FOR VARIOUS FUNCTIONAL AREAS OF NISP, NAGARNAR
1. Mechanical and Metallurgy: 10 Nos. and 7 Nos. respectively.
2. Electrical: 16 Nos.
3. Chemical: 04 Nos.
4. Instrumentation: 8 Nos.
5. Civil / Structural: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering preferably First class in Mechanical/ Metallurgy /Electrical/ Chemical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Structural discipline. Candidates having Degree in related disciplines can also apply (See the below link)

B. INDUSTRIAL SAFETY (For the post of Sr. Manager (E4)/Manager (E3) (FOR NISP, NAGARNAR)
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should be a Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a Degree /Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute like Central Labour Institute (CLI)/ Regional Labour institute (RLI).
Candidates must have proper experience in the related discipline/ functional areas (See Advt.)
C. HORTICULTURE (For the post of Junior Officer (Horticulture) (Supervisory level) (for NISP NAGARNAR)
Number of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have “PG Degree in Science (M Sc.) with Agriculture/Horticulture or B.Sc (Agri) of 4 years course or B.Sc (3 years) + PG Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture”.
One Year experience in the field is desirable.
SR. MANAGER (Ceramic)(E4)/Manager(Ceramic)(E3) – for PANTHAL MAGNESITE PROJECT OF J& K MDC
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Ceramic Engineering preferably first class from a reputed institute. The candidate should have post qualification experience (see Advt. link below). Candidates having experience in production/marketing of basic refractories will have an added advantage.

Minimum Experience — 7yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.32900— 58000/-
Age Limit: maximum 45yrs.
6. Jr. Officer
Minimum Experience — 1yr
Pay Scale: Rs.15000—38000/-
Age Limit: maximum 35yrs.
Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBCs (Non-Creamy layer) and as per Govt. guidelines for PwDs/Ex. Servicemen.
