Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) is recruiting 240 persons for the posts of — Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical/ Civil), Accountant, Clerk, Sub Station Attendant, Draftsman (Electrical/ Civil), Electrician and Etc. Advt. No. CRA No. 2/PSTCL/2012. Eligibility norms and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Assistant Engineer/ Electrical (on Training) : 88 Nos. Post code—51
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent degree.
Pay Scale: Rs.16650—Rs.39100 and Grade pay—Rs.5800
2. Assistant Engineer/ Civil (on Training): 4 Nos. Post code—52
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent degree.
3. Junior Engineer/ Electrical: 39 Nos. Post code—53
Qualification: Diploma of 3/4 years in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks OR BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
4. Junior Engineer/ Civil: 16 Nos. Post code—54
Qualification: Diploma of 3/4 years in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks OR BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
5. Accounts Officer: 2 Nos. Post code—55
Qualification: CA/ ICWA
6. Divisional Accountant: 4 Nos. Post code—56
Qualification: CA Inter or ICWA inter or M.Com with minimum 60% marks with one year post qualifications experience in Finance and Accounts.
7. Upper Division Clerk (Accounts): 8 Nos. Post code—57
Qualification: B.Com with minimum 60% marks.
8. Upper Division Clerk (General): 7 Nos. Post code—58
Qualification: Graduation with 60% marks and with one year course equivalent to PGDCA Course(O level certificate) of DOEACC. OR BCA with 60% marks.
9. Sub Station Attendant: 190 Nos. Post code—59.
Qualification: Diploma of 3/ 4 yrs in Electrical Engg. with min 60% marks or BE/B.Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 60% marks.
10. Draftsman (AutoCAD)/ Electrical: 7 Nos. Post Code—60
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% of marks and with 3 months of certified course in Autocad for Electrical drawings.
11. Draftsman (AutoCAD)/ Civil: 3 Nos. Post code—61
Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering with 60% of marks and with 3 months of certified course in Autocad for Civil drawings.
12. Electrical Grade—II: 19 Nos. Post code—62
Qualification: ITI in Electrical Trade with minimum 60% marks.
N.B: Qualification requirement mentioned above (for all posts) should be of Full time regular course only.
Candidates must have studied Punjabi as a subject at least upto Matric/ Class 10th standard.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 37 yrs (between 20yrs to 37yrs for the posts of Assistant Engineer & Accounts Officer) as on 1/1/2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH is as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test. Questions will be Multiple choice objective type and will consists 100 Nos. questions.

Online application form is in two parts. After successful registration of Part—I, candidates will receive an email from PSTCL which will contain Fee payment Challan and submitted Registration form. Candidates should print-out the attachment of their email on plain paper. The fee challan should be filled and deposited at any branch of State Bank of Patiala.
After depositing the fee, revisit the official site of PSTCL and login with Password provided. Now fill the part-II application form mentioning the fee details and uploading scan image of Passport size photo and signature.
Application fee: Rs.500 (Rs.200 for SC category)
Do not send any application/ documents to PSTCL.
