No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th/ ITI or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 18/12/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700 — Rs.69100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note:- Only Male candidates from West Bengal State are eligible to apply.
The candidate will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis. The selected candidate will be on Probation period for a period of two (02) years which may be extended by the Central Government by a further period of one (01) year.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cm; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Professional Skill Test and Physical Fitness Test. The examination will be conducted from 08/02/2021 to 09/02/2021 at Coast Guard District Headquarters- 8 (WB), Anchorage Camp, Haldia Township, Haldia- 721607 (West Bengal).
