Recruitment of Grade II Nurse, designated as Staff Nurse, in the ESI Hospitals under the Directorate of ESI (MB) scheme, Government of West Bengal at anywhere in the State of West Bengal where the ESI Hospitals are located. Candidates should be permanent resident of West Bengal.

No of post: 75 (Gen-47; SC-17; ST-5; OBC-6)

Qualification: Passed GNM Training from the West Bengal Nursing Council and should have at least One year experience as Nurse in any Hospital or Clinic duly recognized by the government.
Only Married/Unmarried/Widow/Legally Divorced women can apply. Candidates should be permanent resident of West Bengal and have fluency in reading, writing and speaking in Bengali.

Age Limit: 18-37yrs as on 1.1.2011 (Age relaxable for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs)
Pay scale: Rs.7100-37600 per month plus other admissible allowances from time to time as per Govt. norms
Selection procedure: Selection of candidates will be strictly on basis of merit and total marks obtained in GNM exam.

How to apply: Application Form free of cost can be collected only from the ‘Nursing Cell’ of the Directorate of ESI (MB) Scheme, West Bengal, P-233, CIT Scheme VIIM, 2nd Floor, Bagmari Road, Kolkata 700 054 (opposite of ESI Hospital-Manicktala) on any working days till 12.01.2011. Candidates will have to show original mark sheet of GNM and WBNC Registration Certificate to obtain the Application Form.

Last Date to Apply: Candidates should submit the application form at the above address within 17.1.2011- upto 2 p.m. candidates should also bring all the necessary documents in Original for verification.
Important notes to Candidates: Candidates should enclose the following documents in Attested Xerox copies.
All the documents should be attested by only Group A Government Officers or Head of the Nursing Training institutions.

• Madhyamik examination’s Admit card for age proof.
• Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (Class-12) or equivalent examination.
• Mark sheet of GM Training of each year alongwith certificate.
• Both sides of Voter Identity Card or Ration Card as a proof of residence.
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Two nos. recent passport size photograph, one should be affixed on the application form with signature of the candidate on it.
• Residential certificate mentioning that the candidate is residing there for the last five years uninterruptedly.
• Registration certificate from the West Bengal Nursing Council
• At least one year experience certificate in the field on Nursing
