ESIC is seeking applications for the recruitment of Full-Time Specialists (FTS)/Part-Time Specialists (PTS) on a contract basis. There is a total of nine vacancies available across various departments. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to participate in a walk-in interview as per the schedule provided under the ‘Walk-In-Interview’ section, on the specified date and time corresponding to their respective specialties.

Qualification:
Applicants must hold an MBBS degree with a PG Degree or equivalent/PG Diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution and be registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Councils.
Age Limit:
For Full-Time Specialists (FTS), the age should not exceed 69 years as of the date of the interview, as per Office Memorandum No. U-13/14/38/2020-Med.I (ESIC/SC) dated 01-09-2021. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates and others as per Central Government Rules. However, no age relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
For Part-Time Specialists (PTS), the age should not exceed 69 years as of the date of the interview, as per Office Memorandum No. U-13/14/38/2020-Med.I (ESIC/SC) dated 01-09-2021.
Tenure of Contract:
For FTS, the contract duration is one year or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The contract is extendable for up to two more years based on satisfactory performance.
For PTS, the contract duration is one year from the date of joining or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
Experience:
Candidates should have a PG Degree with three years of experience or a PG Diploma with five years of experience in the respective specialty after PG qualification.
Consolidated Remuneration:
Full-Time Specialist: Rs. 1,06,000/- (Rupees One lakh six thousand) per month. Part-Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand) per month. Emergency visit charges, if willing: Rs. 15,000/- Additional remuneration beyond 16 hours/week: Rs. 800/- for every additional hour. Additional hours of work must be justified by the Medical Superintendent.
Duties:
- Full-Time Specialist: Working hours: 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on weekdays and 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM on Saturdays. Emergency visits should be made as required.
- Part-Time Specialist: Working hours: Four hours a day for four days a week.
Selection Process:
- Recruitment is solely on a contractual basis; no regularization of service.
- Full-time contractors cannot engage in private practice.
- ESIC can adjust posts as needed.
- No TA/DA for interview.
- Canvassing leads to disqualification.
- No hostel accommodation.
- NOC is required for employed candidates.
- The contract can be terminated with one month’s notice.
- The Selection Board’s decision is final.
- Medical fitness is mandatory.
- Offer of Appointment issued upon selection.
- Rs. 30,000 security deposit required.
- Deposit forfeited if contract terminated within 9 months.
- PTS preference if no FTS candidate.

Required Documents:
- Age proof (Class 10 certificate/Birth certificate).
- MBBS Certificate.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC & EWS candidates. OBC candidates must submit the latest OBC Certificate as per Central Govt. Proforma, not more than one-year-old from the interview date. No relaxation/reservation applies to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
- PG Degree/Diploma Certificate.
- MCI/SMC Registration Certificate with MD/MS/DNB qualification.
- No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if applicable.
- Experience Certificate, if applicable.
