Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Qualification for Medical:
A Post Graduate Degree like an MD or MDS, or another similar recognized qualification in the same subject or related field.
Qualification for Non-Medical:
A Master’s Degree or higher in the related subject and a Ph.D. from a recognized university in the same subject are needed.
Experience:
For teaching faculty five years teaching experience as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned specialty.
For visiting faculty eight years of work experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the PG Degree.

Age Limit:
- Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
- Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
- Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 40 years
- Visiting Faculty: Not exceeding 67 years
Note: Relaxation in the upper age limit shall be available to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, and other categories of persons as per the instructions/orders of the Government of India.
Pay & Allowances:
Candidates appointed on a contractual basis will be paid Consolidate Pay as on date as under…
Teaching Faculty:
- Professor: Rs.2,33,919/- Per Month
- Associate Professor: Rs.1,55,551/- Per Month
- Assistant Professor: 1,33,640/- Per Month
Visiting Faculty:
- Director Professor/ Professor: 6000/- Per Day
- Associate Professor: 4000/- Per Day
Application Fee:
Application Fee applicable only for candidates who applying for Teaching Faculty.
- SC/ ST/ PWD/ Department, Female candidates & Ex-Servicemen: Nil
- All other categories: 225/-
Selection Process for ESIC Recruitment 2024
The selection will be made based on the performance of the candidate in an interview before the Selection Board. The date and time of the interview will be communicated through mail. Results will be communicated through e-mail/SMS and will be displayed on the website. Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the offer of Appointment.
