Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO)’s Combat Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE) Avadi, Chennai, is inviting application for selection of Ex-ITI Trade Apprentices for Training. Qualification norms and brief information is given below –
No. of vacancies according to trade wise –
1. Fitter: 20 Nos.
2. Turner: 5 Nos.
3. Machinist: 10 Nos.
4. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 10 Nos.
5. Electrician: 11 Nos.
6. Welder (Gas & Electric): 4 Nos.
7. Programming & System Administration Assistant: 5 Nos.
Qualification Required: Ex-ITI candidates should have done 2yrs of duration course (except for Welder and P&S Administration Assistant Trade) from recognised ITI or Institute recognised by NCVT.
Programming & System Administration Assistant must posses National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
Candidates appearing or have appeared in the final examination of their course may also appear (Refer the Advt. for details).
Duration of the training will be of One year. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination which will be of Multiple Objective Type Test.
Date and time of Interview will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form along with attested copies of Qualification proof and other testimonials such as – age proof, caste, and etc.
Candidates should prepare a Crossed Postal Order of Rs.30/- drawn in favour of – “The Director, CVRDE, Avadi Chennai”.
SC/ST/ and PH candidates do not require to prepare Postal order.
Paste two Nos. passport size photographs attested by Gazetted Officer (one copy on Application Form and other copy on Admit card)
Last Date of Application: Application form must reach on or before 30 days from the date of officially released of this Advertisement (Advertisement issued on 25th November 2012, i.e. last date will be 24th October 2012).
