 Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, is recruiting for the post of “Executive Assistant”. Graduate candidates with typing and computer skill may apply for the post. Application form can be submitted online. Details given below—

Name of the post: Executive Assistant

No. of vacancies: 4 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-1).

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from recognized university AND Typing speed of minimum 40 words per minute or 8000 key depression per hour on computer plus full knowledge of computer with applications like – MS Office, Fox base/Fox pro, Unix, Internet, HTML, Webpage design.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have—
Graduation with or above 50% marks and have done post graduate diploma in Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ ‘O’ level certificate from DOEACC
Candidates who have atleast 2 yrs of working experience in data processing environment.
Experience of working in Unix environment.
Full knowledge of Shorthand.

Age limit: Candidates should be within 30yrs of age as 27/3/2012. Age relaxation will be as per govt. norms.

Pay scale: Rs.5200—RS.20200 and grade pay—Rs.2400.

Candidates’ selection steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Practical Test and Interview.
Written test will be of—(I) General English, (II) General Knowledge and (III) Mathematics. Practical test will Computer Knowledge/Speed Test. Qualified candidates will be called for Interview.
Date and venue of examination will be informed later the candidates.

How to apply: Candidates can apply Online from the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education— http://www.cbse.nic.in. After visiting the website read the advertisement carefully and then click the link “Apply Online” to fill the online application form.
Before applying online candidates were required to prepare Demand Draft of Rs.50 (No fee required for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) as Application fee & Postal charges. Demand draft should be in favour of— “SECRETARY, CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION” payable at “DELHI”.

Visit the official site of CBSE and fill the application form. After filling click the “Save” button. Computer generated application form with unique control number will appear on the screen . print-out the generated application form on plain A4 size paper.
Now paste your recent passport size photograph on it and signature on the space provided. This print-out application along with the below mentioned documents should be sent to the office address by Registered post or Speed Post.
Enclosed the following attested copies of the documents—

  • Attested copy of Madhyamik (Class-X) certificate in support of Age verification
  • Attested copies of all educational certificates
  • Attested copy of Practical Training (computer or typing course)/Experience certificate, if any/No Objection certificate (for present employer), if any
  • Attested copy of Caste certificate/ PH Certificates
  • Demand Draft of Rs.50 as Application fee. Write your name, father’s name and Control No. on the reverse side of it)

Along with print-out application form send all the documents by Speed Post or Registered post at the following address – “The Joint Secretary (A&L), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110092”
On the top of the envelope super scribed— “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT”.

Last date: Online Registration can be made till 27th March 2012 and print-out application form should reach the office address within 15th April 2012.
