GAIL (INDIA) LIMITED INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR EXECUTIVE TRAINEE (CHEMICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION) ON BASIS OF GATE 2020. LAST DATE — 12/03/2020
1. EXECUTIVE TRAINEE (CHEMICAL)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD category).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 03/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.60000 — Rs.180000
2. EXECUTIVE TRAINEE (INSTRUMENTATION)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics with minimum 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD category).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 03/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.60000 — Rs.180000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates who wish to apply for the post of Executive Trainees in GAIL will be required to first register for GATE-2020. Candidates should appear in GATE-2020 Examination in relevant papers, i.e. for Executive Trainee (Chemical)- Chemical Engineering (CH) and for Executive Trainee (Instrumentation)- Instrumentation Engineering (IN). Candidates who have completed their Bachelor degree in Engineering in relevant discipline/ branch in the year 2018 or earlier are not eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be on Training-cum-Probation period for One year.
Note: Only GATE-2020 score is valid. GATE score of 2019 or prior to that is not valid.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – 2020 score (GATE-2020 Score), Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview.
