Fertilisers and Chemical Travancore Limited is recruiting eligible candidates for 125 posts of Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, Trade Apprentices and Technician (vocational) Apprentices in different disciplines. FACT WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN WRITTEN TEST FOR 125 POSTS OF TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES, TRADE APPRENTICES, TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICES. WALK-IN DATE — 11^th Jan to 16^th Jan 2016

 

 

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices — Total 39 Posts.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i. Mechanical: 09 posts
ii. Chemical: 12 posts
iii. Computer: 04 posts
iv. Instrumentation: 04 posts
v. Electrical: 06 posts
vi. Civil: 05 posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Chemical and Computer.

 

Technician (Vocational) — Total 10 Posts.
Discipline wise vacancies:-
i. Office Secretary ship:- 05 posts
ii. Accountancy & Auditing:- 05 posts
Educational Qualification: ITI Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, COPA, Mechanic Diesel, Carpenter.

 

Trade Apprentices — Total 76 posts
i. Fitter:- 25 posts
ii. Machinist: 08 posts
iii. Electrician: 15 posts
iv. Mechanic Motor Vehicle: 02 posts
v. Mechanic Diesel: 02 posts
vi. Carpenter: 01 post
vii. Instrument Mechanic:- 10 posts
viii. Welder:- 06 posts
ix. COPA:- 07 posts
Educational Qualification: A Pass in VHSE Examination in the above Trades. Should not have completed more than 3 years after passing the Trade.

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): 23 years as on 01-01-2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Qualifying Examination / Written test. Written test will be conducted at FACT Training Centre, Udyogamandal near Kalamassery – Kochi.

The training period for all above apprentices will be of one year.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of FACT

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may appear directly for the Walk-in/ Written Test on scheduled dates along with copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents
Eligible candidates may appear directly for a written test to be conducted on the dates.

(i) Diploma:- 11.01.2016 to 13.01.2016

(ii) Trade:- 14th, 15th and 16.01.2016

(iii) Technician VHSE:- 16.01.2016
