Food Corporation of India (FCI) is recruiting 30 Assistant General Manager (General Administration, Movement, Accounts, Law) and Medical Officer for manning Category- I posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online or Offline on prescribed application format. Advt.No. 2/2013-FCI Category-I. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. Assistant General Manager (General Administration): 18 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—3; ST—3; OBC—8). Out of them 1 PH candidate.
Qualification: PG Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) OR ACA/AICWA/ACS OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law or 5 years Integrated Course in Law from recognized University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PH)
Age: maximum 30yrs.
2. Assistant General Manager (Movement): 2 Nos. (General)
Qualification: PG Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) OR ACA/AICWA/ACS OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law or 5 years Integrated Course in Law from recognized University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PH)
Age: maximum 30yrs.
3. Assistant General Manager (Accounts): 7 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; OBC—2; ST—00). Out of them 1 PH candidate.
Qualification: Associate membership of —
— The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; or
— The Institute of Cost Accountants of India ; or
— The Institute of Company Secretaries of India
Age: maximum 28yrs.
4. Assistant General Manager (Law): 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Full time Degree in Law AND minimum 5yrs experience as a practicing lawyer or law officer.
Age: Maximum 33yrs.
5. Medical Officer: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: MBBS and 3yrs experience in any organized Medical Institution, preferably in a labour Organization.
Age: maximum 35yrs.
Upper age relaxation: Age of the candidates will be counted as on 01-08-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale (For all posts): Rs.20600—46500
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Exact date and venue of Written examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
Candidates may choose their Examination centre during fillup of the Application form. Candidates from West Bengal may choose “Kolkata” as examination centre. (See the Advt. for details)
The Admit Card for the Written Test indicating the time and venue of examination for each candidate can be downloaded from the website of FCI (see below url) 15 days prior to the date of examination onwards. The admit card will also be sent by post 21 days prior to the date of examination.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for any one of the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.500/- by means of Fee payment Bank Challan or through Demand Draft. Candidates may print-out the bank’s challan from the website of Food Corporation of India (FCI) upon mentioning their details.
In case candidate opt to pay the prescribed fee through Demand Draft then in such case, the DD should be drawn in favour of – Food Corporation of India Recruitment Account and payable at New Delhi.
N.B: Payment of Application Fee by means of Bank Challan through any branch of SBI is preferred. Candidates shall pay Rs.50/- additionally as bank’s charge.
Application Fee is to be paid between 06/08/2013 to 04/09/2013 only
SC/ST/PWD (PH) and Women candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online from the official website of FCI — www.fcijobportal.com (Live url is given below).
Candidates may also apply offline by downloading the Application form from the above website. However online application mode is preferred.
For Online Application form — After successful submission of Online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip which will appear on the computer screen with unique Registration number.
The print-out system generated application along with attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Age limit, Caste, Experience certificate and Etc, must be sent by ORDINARY POST only at the following address — POST BOX NO. 35, SECTOR-19, NODIA—201301, so as to reach on or before 04/09/2013
For Offline Application form — Candidates must download the Application form from the website of FCI (link given below) and then must sent it to the following address along with testimonials in attested copies so as to reach on or before 04/09/2013 by Ordinary Post at — POST BOX NO. 35, SECTOR-19, NODIA—201301
Superscribe the top of the application containing envelope with the Name of the post applied for and category of candidate (SC/ST/OBC/GEN/PH, as the case may be.)
