Indian Army is inviting application from eligible female candidates to join the Armed Forces as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Military Nursing Service (MNS) 2014. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from the official website of Indian Army (See below). Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
Short Service Commissioned Officer in Military Nursing Service (MNS)—2014.
Only female candidates (married/ unmarried) are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification: Should have passed PG/PB from B Sc/B Sc Nursing from INC recognized University and must be registered as Nurse and Midwife from a State Nursing Council.
Candidates awaiting result were not eligible to apply.
Age: Candidates’ date of birth must be between 13 Jan 1979 and 14 Jan 1993 (Both days inclusive).
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which will be conducted at Delhi during the third week of May 2014. The result of successful shortlisted candidates will be declared on the next day of written examination at the examination venue.
The qualified candidates will be then called for Interview and finally selected candidates will go for Medical Examination for fitness test.
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format only (See the below PDF file). The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials such as – Matriculation certificate, Educational Certificate, Valid Registration Certificate as Nurse & Midwife, NCC certificate (if any), Character certificate and any other relevant certificate.
Candidates must also enclose two self-addressed envelope (27x12cm) with one affixed with postal stamp of Rs.40/- and other with postal stamp of Rs.7/-
Application Fee: Candidates must prepare a bank Demand Draft of SBI of Rs.150/- drawn in favour of – DGAFMS (APF) Fund, payable at SBI, Central Secretariat, New Delhi, and should enclose it with the Application form. Name and address of the candidate must be written on the rear side of the draft.
