Central Government’s—under Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, National Survey Office is recruiting 1300 Boys/Girls for the post of “Field Investigator”. Required Qualification and other details were given below.
Degree in any stream with subject— Statistics/ Economics/ Math can apply for the post. Candidates should have fluent speaking power in English and Local Language of the state. Should have proper computer skill and knowledge. Working experience as a Field Survey or Field Data Collection under any Government enterprise will be given preference first.
Age should be between 21 yrs to 40 yrs as on 1-6-2011. Monthly pay scale is Rs.15000 and beside these extra expenses will be given for bus/train fare, fooding and hotel lodging and etc. Job will be on contract basis which will be valid upto 31st March 2012, later may increase.
For selection of candidates, there will be Written Test, Computer Application Test and Interview.

Application can be prepared on plain paper according to the given format. Along with application, the following documents should be enclosed:
- One self-addressed envelope with postal stamp
- Recent pass-port size photo pasted on application form and then attested from gazette officer
- Attested copies of educational, age proof and experience (if any) certificate
- Caste certificate in case of OBC or SC/ST candidates
