FIRE ENGINE DRIVER CUM PUMP OPERATOR (FEDCPO)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
ii) Must possess a Certificate of training in Fire Fighting from a recognized Institution/ Centre.
iii) Must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License for at least 03 years.
iv) Must be able to maintain logbook and other relevant records.
v) Must have sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipment, Appliances and maneuvering of Foam Crash Tender (FCT).
vi) Must possess a sound health.
vii) Must be able to conduct, supervise and attend different fire drills and parades.
Experience:
i) At least 01 year experience in fire fighting work, including some experience in driving different types of Heavy Vehicles.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates possessing experience in driving Fire Tenders.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/07/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.24,300/- per month.
The vacancies are under Administration Division, Haldia Dock Complex, Kolkata Port Trust on Contractual basis for a period of Two (02) years.
The posting of selected candidates will be under Fire Unit at Haldia.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trade Test and Written Test.
