DELHI SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD (DSSSB) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 706 FIRE OPERATOR. LAST DATE — 06/11/2019
FIRE OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 706 Nos. (UR-190, OBC-115, SC-309, ST-71, EWS-21)
Educational Qualification: i) Matric pass from a recognized Institute/ Board or equivalent.
ii) Should possess valid license for driving heavy duty vehicles.
Desirable: i) Technical qualification in profession.
ii) Swimming/ diving.
iii) Experience in playing band.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 06/11/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
The vacancies are under Delhi Fire Service, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
The selected candidates will undergo Pre-service training for a period of six (06) months.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms (160 cms for hilly area people); Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; Chest (expanded) — 86.5 cms; Weight — 50 kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through One Tier (General) Examination scheme and Physical Endurance Test. The centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi/ NCR only.
