Central Governments Ministries of Defense- Central Ordnance Depot is recruiting 23 nos. Fireman. Madhyamik pass candidates can apply for the post. Details were given below:
Name of Post: Fireman
No. of Vacancies: 23 posts (GEN- 12; OBC- 8; SC- 3) among them 2posts for Ex- serviceman and 1 post for merit sportsperson
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation)
Physical Standard:
Height: 165 cm without any shoes, for SC/ST candidates- 162.5
Chest: while expanding it should be 85 cm and un-expending it should be 81.5 cm
Weight: minimum bodyweight should be 50kg
Age Limit: candidates should be 18yrs to 25yrs (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200 Per month; Grade Pay: Rs.1900
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected either through Exam or Interview. First Physical measurement and then endurance test of the followings: (i) Race of 183 meter within 96 seconds with laden load of 63.5 Kg. (ii) Climbing of 3 mtrs with rope. (iii) Hoping of 2.7 mtrs
Training will be given to the selected candidates and then will be fixed jobs.
