WEST BENGAL MUNICIPAL SERVICE COMMISSION (WBMSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 05 MEDICAL OFFICER, SUB-REGISTRAR, STAFF NURSE AND FOOD SAFETY OFFICER. LAST DATE — 23/12/2020
1. MEDICAL OFFICER (SPECIALIST – CHEST)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised University.
Age Limit: 18 – 37 years
2. SUB-REGISTRAR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Degree/ Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine like BHMS/ DHMS/ DS from a recognised University/ Institution.
Desirable: Experience of working for 03 years in Government/ Semi-Government/ Local/ Statutory Bodies/ urban local bodies on either permanent or contactual basis in Burning Ghats/ Burial Grounds/ Mortuary, etc.
Age Limit: 18 – 45 years
3. STAFF NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (OBC(A) – 1; OBC(B) – 1; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from Nursing Council of West Bengal or its equivalent.
Age Limit: 18 – 39 years
4. FOOD SAFETY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Bio-Technology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Services or Bio-Chemistry or Micro Biology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a Degree in Medicine.
Candidates must have successfully completed training as specified by the food Authority in a recognised Institute or Institution approved for the purpose.
Age Limit: 18 – 39 years
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personality Test/ Interview. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course.
