DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND FOREST, ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ADMINISTRATION INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 62 FOREST GUARD. LAST DATE — 25/03/2020
FOREST GUARD
No. of Vacancies: 62 Nos. (UR-52, OBC-10. Out of the total posts, 06 posts are reserved for EWS, 02 posts are reserved for Meritorious Sports Person & 02 posts for Ex-serviceman)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Examination (Xth Std.) Passed from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 33 years for Male and Between 18 to 38 years for Female candidates as on 25/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700 — Rs.69100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
The selected candidates on appointment will have to successfully complete Forestry Training Course.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (152 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 84 cm; Chest (expanded) — 89 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 cm (145 cm for ST candidates); Chest — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Document/ Certificates
Verification, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET). The Examination will be held at the following centres:- Diglipur, Mayabunder, Rangat, Port Blair, Havelock, Hutbay, Car Nicobar and Campbell Bay.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND FOREST, ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ADMINISTRATION AT THIS STAGE.
