Educational Qualification: i) High School Certificate (10+) or equivalent examination from recognized Board or Institution.
ii) The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia and have-
a) Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or
b) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject, or
c) Passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt., or
d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8880 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women Category and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in various Divisions under the Forest and Environment Department of Government of Odisha. The candidates will be appointed initially on Contractual basis.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 cm (158 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86 cm; Weight — 55kg (50 kg for ST candidates).
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 153 cm; Weight — 45 kg.
Candidates must not be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Standard Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Sports Achievements, NCC and Written Test. The Written Test will be conducted on the same date and time in the District Headquarters all over the State.
