1. FOREST RANGER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering from any recognized University/ Institute with one of the following subjects:- (i) Agriculture, (ii) Botany, (iii) Chemistry, (iv) Computer Application/ Computer Science, (v) Engineering Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical, (vi) Environmental Science, (vii) Forestry, (viii) Geology, (ix) Horticulture, (x) Mathematics, (xi) Physics, (xii) Statistics, (xiii) Veterinary Science, (xiv) Zoology.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 13/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400 — Rs.112400
2. FOREST GUARD
No. of Vacancies: 211 Nos. (UR-88, SC-30, ST-15, OBC-57, EWS-21)
Educational Qualification: 12th/ Senior Secondary Examination passed from a recognized Board.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 13/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
3. WILDLIFE GUARD/ GAME WATCHER
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos. (UR-04, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-03, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: 10th pass from recognized Board/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 13/02/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000 — Rs.56900
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Physical Standards (For Forest Ranger and Forest Guard only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (152 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 84 cm; Chest (expanded) — 89 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 cm (145 cm for ST candidates); Chest — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Competitive Examination and Physical Test wherever applicable. The online examination will be held tentatively on 12th and/ or 13th March, 2020. The online examination as well as Physical Test (as applicable) will be held at the centers located in Delhi/ NCR only.
