1. FORESTER

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with any one of the following subjects from any recognized University:-
a) Agriculture
b) Animal Husbandry
c) Botany
d) Chemistry
e) Computer Applications / Computer Science
f) Engineering (All Engineering subjects including Agricultural Engineering)
g) Environmental Science
h) Forestry
i) Geology
j) Horticulture
k) Marine Biology
l) Mathematics
m) Physics
n) Statistics
o) Veterinary Science
p) Wildlife Biology
q) Zoology
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 35,900/- to Rs. 1,13,500/-
2. FOREST GUARD
No. of Vacancies: 726 Nos. (GT-225, BC-192, BCM-25, MBC/DC-145, SC-132, ST-07)
Educational Qualification: Pass in Higher Secondary Course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects.
Note: The above qualification shall not be necessary in respect of candidates belonging to the Jungle Tribes and also in the case of those who were appointed as Reserve Watchers on or before 11.10.1982. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18,200/- to Rs.57,900/-
3. FOREST GUARD WITH DRIVING LICENCE
No. of Vacancies: 152 Nos. (GT-47, BC-40, BCM-05, MBC/DC-30, SC-28, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Pass in Higher Secondary Course (Plus Two) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects.
ii) Must possess a valid Driving licence.
iii) Must possess basic knowledge about the general mechanism of automobiles.
iv) Must possess first aid certificate issued by the recognized organization in Tamil Nadu.
v) Candidates must possess the visual standard mentioned in the Advt. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Experience: Not less than 03 years experience in driving of Light motor vehicles / Heavy Motor Vehicles.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18,200/- to Rs.57,900/-
Note: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Preference shall be given to persons who have been discharged from the Army Service (Land Force).
The vacancies are in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, MBC/DC,BC, BCM and DW. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (152 cm for ST candidates & Jungle Tribes); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 cm (145 cm for ST candidates & Jungle Tribes); Chest — 74 cm; Chest (expanded) — 79 cm
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Computer based Examination, Physical Standard Test, Physical Endurance Test and Personality Test. The Examinations will be held in all 32 districts of Tamil Nadu.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- (Rs.150/- for the post of Forest Guard / Forest Guard with Driving Licence) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
